Film festival

We were arriving to school. Then the bell rang then we all had to  line up and go to the bus.  When we got into the bus I felt  lot’s of energy and I was happy as well.  When we arrived to the movies we found our seats. Super Boy

There was a little boy named josh. He lived in the sky he always wanted to see the world but he couldn’t because his mum and dad said no. then the mum said you can go to super school where you can learn your power.

He went to super school and learnt his fully power. Then he went back home to his parents and told them that he got his fully power and then the mum and dad ‘’said to joshua ‘’ get down there to help people . so he went down to save people from villains.

 Josh fighted lots of villains and the last villain fight the boss of all of the superheros his name is the flash. The flash is the fastest in the superhero’s . The  flash’s son was josh the flash would always help him when he is in trouble.

Ben Johnson

Ben johnson has huge muscles at the start of the 100 meter race.  Ben johnson didn’t look human inside himself. We did not know that ben johnson took drugs.

During the race all eyes were on two men. Ben johnson raced carl lewis. All the people wanted to watch was ben johnson vs carl lewis.

Ben johnson ran to the airport  as fast as he can so he doesn't get caught for taking drugs. Ben johnson had to do a drug test. Ben johnson got caught by the  manager from the Olympics and Ben  johnson oot striiped off his gold medle.

Flame

The Ancient Greeks started the tradition of having an Olympic flame. In Olympia a sacred flame is lit by the sun's rays and stays alight until the games have ended. The flame symbolized a request for protection from Zeus and the athletes’ struggles for victory.

The modern flame symbolizes the light of the spirit, knowledge and life. To this day, the torch is still lit in Olympia in Greece, then carried by a relay team, passing runner to runner, until it reaches the host-city of the games. There, the cauldron will be lit and stay alight until the closing ceremony.

The olmpics

The Olympics began 1 to 2 thousand years ago in Ancient Greece. In those days Greece was made up of several different states including Athens, Sparta and Corinth and they were often at war with each other. When the games were on they held a truce. This great event was held at a place called Olympia this is why they call it the Olympics. They were held every 4 years in Honour of Zeus lord of all the gods.  Eventually the ancient Olympics were abolished by the Roman Emperor Theodosus the first he was a Christian and didn't like the games because they were dedicated to a Pagan god. The Olympics is remembered as a symbol of human achievement and peace.

2000 years the Colosseum was built. The Colosseum is grand and glorious. The colosseum has crumbling walls with stone archways the stone archways keeps the colosseum strong.

The Colosseum was built for fighting. If a bad guy grabs a purse and the king sees him he goes to the colosseum and  all the people watch him fight the gladiators.

Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is in Paris and it is arched it the base. The Eiffel Tower is 320 metres tall. The Eiffel Tower has an elevator that takes people to the top.  The Eiffel Tower has breathtaking views and if you look down you can see the arched base.The Eiffel Tower lights at night when it lights the Eiffel Tower glows it looks beautiful.

The London Eye

The London Eye Is a ferris wheel and its in England.  London Eye is 120 metres tall when you're on the top you can see the outstanding view.  The London Eye is spacious it’s comfortable and scary but you can see the ground.  The london Eye takes 30 minutes to go on the ride.

As I was walking on to the stage I felt nervous because I was standing in front of 3000 people.

During my performance all of our families were watching our items, we were up they  called our group and then when we were up on the stage I felt proud I was standing  like as man”

As I was dancing off the stage my  

whanau  were cheering and my tutor said to our group “Great job guys.”

I was proud when I went to my dressing  room and my whanau said to me and my sister, “we are so proud of you”.
                                             

The impossible bridge

we read the impossible bridge and made two bridges.

What we found out… We found out that the triangle bridge  bent in the middle.

Problem...We had to make it strong.

What we did... was we had to make triangles and sellotaped the triangles on to the cardboard .

Problem… was the bridge kept falling.
What we did… we cut it in half and then we folded it 7 times and the other half was put on top.

Simmming

 In the warm pool teachers  were teaching me and my friends. Swimming under the light blue water we were diving like dolphins. I loved it!

The frog

The slimy frog was sitting on a tree. He was waiting for his prey which was a cricket. The cricket was floating on a leaf. The frog outstretched his tongue to eat the small cricket.

You Wanna do some bombs?

Bravely God bombed into the water. He spun around 6 times and did a backflip finishing with a massive bomb. He hit the water and made a  big splash .

NZ flag

New Zealend have begun  voting on weather too  change  our flag  from a design  wich  features  The British  Union Jack  to one that features silver ferns. Some pepole say the curent flag is too  similar to Australia flag. I thought  so New Zealand is no longer then Britain. We need a flag that  represent  our nation.

The Blob

Nestled within the blue and yellow pillow eagler children  anticipated the ride. The countdown was on ,3, 2 ,1. Terror mixed with excitement was all over written all on. There faces as they were catapulted towards the sky. Spinning,twirling and tumbling. The  children twisted their way through the air. As they plummeted towards the water their faces grinned in a delight. Splash. “Can i have another go please?”.

The Dark Forest

A little boy called jack he was playing with his dog he threw the ball  too far and the dog k ran into the dark forest. running after the dog the went further and further into the dark forest.soon he realised he was lost and he felt lonely and scared.        

As the boy jack wallks along a bear attacked him. The bear was bowrn with his sharp theeh and his sharp claws . Its growls so loudly the trees shook . The boy was terrified . he was breathing so fast and his heart was racing,

the boy yells for help . suddenly his dog appeared followed by his dad . His dad threw a long spear at the bear hurting it which made it run away the boys was
